Set Up Window Tiling
How to enable tiled and tabbed window management.
For users who wish to use window tiling in Zorin OS, we suggest installing the Forge GNOME Shell desktop extension.

- Enable support for third-party GNOME Shell desktop extensions by following these instructions ›
- Visit the webpage for the Forge extension ›
- Press the switch in the top-right of the extension’s description to turn it on.
- Accept the prompt to “Install” the extension.
Window tiling should be enabled automatically after the installation completes.
You can customize the tiling behavior and keyboard shortcuts by opening the tiling menu from the panel indicators and selecting “Open Preferences”.
