It isn’t necessary to use Antivirus software in Zorin OS for most desktop computer users. This is because of the advanced security features of Linux and the inherently more secure development model of Open Source software.

To stay safe from security threats, we recommend that you always install the latest updates from the Software Updater. This will ensure that you have the latest security patches to avoid any known vulnerabilities.
If you want to be more certain that your computer isn’t hosting any malware for other platforms, you can install a malware scanner called “ClamTk” from the Software store in Zorin OS.
